Exploring New Ideas for Google Workspace

Presenter(s) Roy Degler

Welcome to this brainstorming session dedicated to harnessing the full potential of Google Workspace! Our objective is to uncover creative ways to integrate and optimize these powerful apps, such as Google Spaces, Chat, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, and Meet, to revolutionize the way MPLA works together.  Together, let's explore creative applications of Google Workspace and transform our ideas into actionable steps that will drive MPLA towards a brighter and more collaborative future.

About Google Workspace

Google Workspace offers a wide range of applications and tools that can be used creatively in various ways. Here are some creative uses for Google Workspace:

1. Collaborative Brainstorming: Use Google Docs or Google Jamboard to facilitate brainstorming sessions with your team. Multiple users can simultaneously contribute ideas, make comments, and collaborate in real-time.

2. Virtual Whiteboarding: Google Jamboard provides a digital whiteboard platform where team members can sketch, draw, and collaborate on ideas visually. It's great for creative discussions, visualizing concepts, and organizing information.

3. Interactive Presentations: Create interactive presentations using Google Slides. Incorporate hyperlinks, animations, and interactive elements to engage your audience and make your presentations more dynamic.

4. Project Management: Utilize Google Sheets or Google Tasks to manage and track projects. You can create custom project management templates, set deadlines, assign tasks, and collaborate with your team members.

5. Virtual Workshops or Webinars: Use Google Meet to host virtual workshops, training sessions, or webinars. You can share your screen, use breakout rooms for group activities, and leverage real-time collaboration tools to engage participants.

6. Digital Forms and Surveys: Create customized surveys, quizzes, or feedback forms using Google Forms. Collect responses, analyze data, and gain insights for decision-making or market research.

7. Team Communication: Leverage Google Chat for quick messaging, file sharing, and collaboration. Create topic-specific chat rooms to foster open communication and idea sharing within your team.

8. Remote Team Collaboration: Google Drive allows for seamless file sharing and collaboration. Create shared folders to centralize project files, assign access permissions, and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in real-time.

These are just a few examples of the creative ways you can utilize Google Workspace. The flexibility and integration of the tools allow for endless possibilities to enhance productivity, collaboration, and creativity within your organization.
